Eagle Project
Lee built a Veterans Memorial at Oakdale Cemetery in Middleton, MA. A 22' central flagpole has the US and POW/MIA flags surrounded by five 15’ flagpoles for each major branch of service. The flagpoles are arranged in a pentagon shape separated by granite spokes. 4”x 8” red pavers complete the central area and are interspersed with dozens of engraved bricks supporting our veterans. The central area is surrounded by a 2’ apron of crushed blue stone. The project won the 2016 Glenn A. And Melinda W. Adams National Eagle Scout Service Project Of The Year Award for the Spirit of Adventure Council and led to Lee becoming the 2018 American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year for Massachusetts.
